Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub – Assessment & Reviews

I am having a few black heads around my nose area. I was not so worry about them but some of my friends pointed out that they should be wiped off. So I started searching for a daily blackhead cleanser or mask. Today I am going to assess this Clean & Clear product.

Company Claims:

Fast and effective solution for blackhead prone skin. Effective micro-scrubbing beads break down trapped oil, dirt and dead skin. The natural apple extract formula penetrates deep into pores to help soften stubborn blackheads at the core and prevent new ones from forming. Its gentle exfoliating action leaves your skin beautifully smooth and clear.

Directions:

Squeeze a small amount on wet palm. As you work into a rich leather, gently massage product all over face, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off thoroughly. Use daily for skin that’s clean, clear and beautiful.

Ingredients:

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Disodium Lauroamphodiacetate, Propylene Glycol, Lauryl Methyl Gluceth – 10 Hydroxypropyldimonium Chloride, Polyethylene Glycol Distearate, Hamamelis Virginiana Water, Carbomer, Salicylic Acid, PEG 120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Polyethylene, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Malic Acid, Actinidia Chinesis (Kiwi) Fruit Juice, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Juice, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Juice, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Juice, Trideceth 9, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract.

My Assessment:

First of all it comes in a cute light blue smart tube with a flip cap. When I open the cap I experience a fresh fruity smell since this scrub is having green apple extracts. This is a cleansing daily scrub but I just used it for the blackheads prone area around my nose. I did not apply it on my whole face. Since I have normal skin, so it does not make my skin dry or itching but it would make dry skin even more dry.

Clean n Clear claims that you will notice less blackheads in just three days. This is not true but it surely minimizes the birth of new blackheads. This scrub is shiny transparent thick fluid with tiny particles or micro-beadings. It’s very easy to apply. I take a small amount of this cleanser scrub and massage it around my nose for about 4 to 5 minutes and then rinse with fresh water.

After rinsing the scrub I notice a soft and supple feel on my nose. Although this scrub cleanser is effective for blackheads but I noticed that this product is more effective for white heads as well. When I applied this scrub cleanser on my nose for the first time, it did not wiped away all my blackheads but after washing my nose area I realized that all the white heads were removed. I was very happy with this job of clean n clear scrub cleanser.

• Does not remove the grown blackheads completely
• Makes dry skin over dried

Over all I am satisfied with this clean n clear product and I would buy it again if I do not get any other product better than this. I bought it from Chase Up Departmental Store for PKR 230.
